Deposits, notice and the slow hours held for you

Seven kinds of booking held with half the fee

Tantra sessions are often planned well before the evening they fill. When a booking belongs to one of the seven classes below, half of its fee is paid ahead to hold it:

• any session asked for more than twenty-four hours before it is due to start;
• an overnight, which runs eight hours from the agreed start;
• a session with two therapists present, at whatever length;
• a booking of three hours or more, whichever day it falls on;
• a room at Schiphol or at an airport hotel, which is by arrangement, with the journey time agreed with you before anything is fixed;
• a peak date, among them King's Day, ADE, Pride, Christmas, New Year and the large conference weeks, and the house says whether your date is one when you ask;
• your first booking with the house, at any length and at any hour.

One kind of session sits outside that list. If someone on the roster has visited you before, an hour or two asked for today, at a hotel or an apartment inside the ring, is paid in full when she comes in. Ask for the same two hours next week, or for a three-hour session tonight, and the deposit applies again.

Once that same-day hour is confirmed in the thread, she is usually with you forty to sixty minutes later, and the rate on her profile among the therapists is the whole of what is settled in the room.

Half the fee, shown on five bookings

Every deposit is half of the rate printed on the profile of the therapist you choose. No supplement is added for the small hours, for a weekend or for a room at the far edge of the ring, so that half is all that goes ahead:

• A first two-hour tantra session for one person: one hour's worth of the fee is sent ahead, and the other hour's worth is paid once she is in the room.
• Ninety minutes with two therapists for a single client costs double the one-therapist figure, and it divides the same way, half ahead and half when they arrive.
• Two hours for a couple sharing one therapist is also charged at double, of which half is sent ahead and half is settled on the day.
• A slow three-hour session booked for next Saturday is held by an hour and a half's worth of the fee, and the matching hour and a half waits until she comes.
• An overnight for one client and one therapist is a single block price, half of it placed ahead and half due when she comes in.

How the deposit and the balance are paid

Card is the ordinary way to pay a deposit with this house, and Revolut, Wise or cryptocurrency may be used by a client who prefers them. The exact amount of the deposit, and how to send it, reach you in writing in the booking thread before she sets out. Every price on this site is stated in euro, and that euro figure is the price of your booking. What is left after the deposit is paid when she arrives. Cash in another major currency is accepted for the balance, and the amount in that currency is written into the thread before she leaves for you. The booking page sets the messages out in order.

What a cancellation costs

Cancelling never leaves you owing damages. What the house keeps is the part of the fee it has already earned when your message arrives, and the notice you give sets that part:

• more than twenty-four hours before the session is due to start: nothing is kept, and the whole deposit is repaid to you;
• inside the final twenty-four hours, while she has not yet left: half of the deposit is kept as fee already earned, and the other half is repaid;
• once she is on her way to you: the whole deposit is kept as fee already earned.

Where the time you gave up is booked by another client, the deposit is repaid in full. Where you can show that the house lost less than it kept, it keeps only that lower sum.

Take the Saturday session above, held with half its fee. A message on Thursday brings the whole deposit back. A message on Saturday afternoon, before she has left, means a quarter of the full fee is kept as fee earned and the same quarter is repaid. A message sent after she has set out keeps the whole deposit as fee already earned, unless those three hours go to someone else, in which case every part of it is returned.

Moving a session to another day

One move costs nothing. Ask for it in the booking conversation more than twenty-four hours before the session is due to start, and choose a new date no later than fourteen days after the first one. When both conditions are met, the deposit moves across whole. A further move, or a move asked for inside the last twenty-four hours, is measured on the notice scale as though it were a cancellation sent at that moment. Whatever part of the deposit the scale does not keep goes with the session to its new date.

When the house cannot perform

If the house is unable to perform your booking, the decision about the deposit is yours. You may have all of it repaid. You may also keep it against a later session, for as long as you need to settle on a date. The moment the house learns that the therapist you chose cannot come, it tells you, and you then either choose another name on the roster or take the deposit back.

A change on your own side, whether a cold, a delayed flight, a switch of hotel or a change of heart, counts as a move or a cancellation and follows the scale above.

A session booked without a deposit

The same-day hour or two for a returning client is taken with nothing paid ahead. A cancellation that reaches the thread before she has left costs you nothing. Cancel it once she has set out, and the house asks only for the part of the fee that her journey represents.

The fourteen-day right to withdraw

A booking agreed in a message thread is a contract made at a distance. Book 6 of the Dutch Civil Code sets out the rules for such contracts in articles 6:230m to 6:230z, and those articles carry the EU Consumer Rights Directive into Dutch law. Under those articles a consumer ordinarily has fourteen days in which to withdraw. Article 6:230p removes certain contracts from that right, including services related to leisure activities where the contract fixes a specific date or period. Every booking with this house is for a named hour on a named day, which is the case that exception is written for. For that reason the fourteen-day right does not arise for a booking here.

A same-day session rests on a second footing too. Before she leaves for you, the booking conversation asks you to confirm that you want the session performed at once, and that you understand the fourteen-day right will not apply once it has been performed. Ending a session before its time

If you bring a session to a close before the reserved time is over, the full fee remains due. The time was held for you alone, she made the journey to your room, and the unused minutes cannot be given to another client.

What a tantra session includes, and where its limits sit, is decided by your therapist. When her safety or her comfort is disregarded, or a limit she has named is pressed, she ends the visit at once. Once she has arrived, what stays due is the fee for the reserved time, because that time was set aside for you and the journey to you already made, and no further charge is added to it.

False bookings and the internal note

A booking counts as a false booking only if it meets one of these listing criteria:

• it was placed under a name that is not the client's own;
• it was placed from a number or a profile that belongs to somebody else;
• it was placed as a joke;
• it ended in a no-show after meeting one of the three criteria above.

An ordinary missed appointment is not one of these criteria. The house handles it as a cancellation, on the notice scale.

When a booking meets a criterion, or a visit ends because a limit was pressed, the house writes a short internal note about it. The note holds the date, what happened, and the name and number used to make the booking. Twelve months is the period for which the note is kept. It stays inside the house, and no person or business outside the house is given it. Its single use is to decide whether a further booking from the same person is accepted. The privacy page explains how to object to the note, or to ask for it to be corrected or removed. Should the facts written in a note point to a criminal offence, the house may report them to the police.

A client who books under his own name and is in the room at the agreed hour never meets any of this. The deposit on a first tantra booking passes no judgement on you; it holds the slow hours for you just as it holds a regular's overnight.
