Booking a tantra session together is a different decision from booking one alone. The questions are less about technique and more about the two of you: who goes first, whether to watch, and how to talk it through before anyone knocks.
Couples tend to reach the idea from one of two directions. Either one partner has read about tantra and suggested it, and the other has agreed with a blend of curiosity and reservation, or both have been hunting for something to share on a trip that is not yet another restaurant. Either way, the practical side of a tantra massage for couples is simpler than the conversation beforehand, and that conversation is where a good evening is really made.
The single most common thing that goes wrong for couples is a mismatch nobody named in advance. One partner assumed the session would be restful and gentle, the other pictured something more intimate, and the gap only surfaces once everyone is in the room. So have the conversation first, between yourselves, and cover a few specific points.
What is each of you comfortable receiving? What is each of you comfortable watching your partner receive? Is there anything either of you would rather not see? Would you prefer to share the room throughout, or does one of you want some privacy? None of these have right answers, and partners often answer them differently. The only requirement is that both answers are known before the evening begins, because the therapist builds the scope around what each of you says, and the narrower answer always wins.
There are two ways to arrange a shared session, and they make for quite different evenings.
With one therapist, partners take turns. One receives while the other rests nearby, watches, or waits in the next room if there is one. It suits couples who are curious to see the format on each other, and rooms where space is tight. The total time is shared, so two hours becomes roughly an hour each, and at €180 an hour it costs the same as a single booking of that length.
With two therapists, at €360 an hour, both partners receive at once, usually side by side. Nobody watches and nobody waits, and the long unhurried middle happens to both of you simultaneously, which many couples find the more connected version. It needs a room with space for two people to lie down and two therapists to move around them, so a larger hotel room, a suite or an apartment. The couples massage page describes both formats in more detail.
If you choose to take turns, let the more hesitant partner go second. Watching the first half of a session is the best introduction there is: it takes the mystery out of the pace, shows how the opening conversation shapes everything, and makes clear that nothing sudden or unexpected happens. By the time their turn comes, the unfamiliar has already become familiar.
Couples often find that the hardest part is not shyness about being touched but awareness of the other person. Is my partner comfortable? Are they enjoying it? Should I be showing more? Part of what makes the format work is letting go of that monitoring. Agree beforehand that each of you will speak up if something is not right, and then trust the other to do so, so that neither of you spends ninety minutes glancing across the room.
For a pair with one therapist, two hours is the practical minimum, so that each partner has close to an hour. With two therapists, ninety minutes works well for a first session and two hours gives it more breathing room. Longer bookings suit couples who have planned an entire evening in, with dinner brought up to the room or a late walk along the canals afterwards. Prices for every length are listed on the prices page.
The part couples mention most is the hour after the therapists leave. Both partners are in the same slowed state at the same moment, the room is warm and dim, and nothing needs to be said or done. That time is worth protecting: do not book a table for straight afterwards, and avoid setting an early alarm for the next morning if you can.
When you write to book, mention that you are a couple, which arrangement you prefer, and anything either of you would like left out. Confirmation on WhatsApp comes in about ten minutes, and the booking page explains what else is useful to include in that first message.
