Tantra Massage During ADE: Booking Around the Late Nights

In October Amsterdam Dance Event fills the city with music until morning for five days. Visitors who come for the nights often want one slow, silent session somewhere in the middle of it, and the timing needs a little planning.

Set down on

Amsterdam Dance Event arrives each October and turns the city into a five-day programme of club nights, conferences and daytime showcases. Hotels fill weeks ahead, sleep becomes optional, and many visitors reach the middle of the week with sore feet, ringing ears and a nervous system that has forgotten what quiet feels like. A tantra massage during ADE in Amsterdam is booked by guests who want to reset between nights, and because the event is weeks away, now is a sensible time to think about how to arrange it.

ADE is a peak date

The house treats the ADE week as a peak period. Every booking on a peak date is confirmed with a deposit of half the price, for new and returning clients alike. For one client with one therapist, ninety minutes cost €270 and two hours €360, so the deposit is €135 or €180. Card, Revolut, Wise and crypto are the ways to send it once the office has accepted; bank transfer, PayPal and cash are refused for deposits. She collects the remaining half in person, as cash, on a card or in crypto.

Cancelling does not return a festival-week deposit. Plans do change during festivals, so it is worth knowing that one move to another date within fourteen days is allowed when you ask more than twenty-four hours ahead. A move asked for inside the last twenty-four hours counts as a cancellation. Everything else about changes and cancellations is written out in the cancellation policy.

When to book the session

The house works around the clock, so the question is not whether a therapist is available at an odd hour, but which hour will actually help. Three patterns work well for ADE visitors.

The first is an early-evening session before a night out, around six or seven, which leaves you rested rather than wired when you head to the club. The second is a daytime session after sleeping off a late night, in the early afternoon, when the hotel room is quiet and the body is ready to rest properly. The third is a rest night in the middle of the week, with a long session at nine or ten and no club at all.

A session straight after coming home from a club at dawn is the pattern that works least well, because the body is still running on the night and settling takes a very long time.

Come to the session clear

This matters more during ADE than at any other time of year. A slow session depends on a nervous system that can settle, and alcohol or anything stronger makes that close to impossible. A therapist will not begin a session for a client who is clearly intoxicated and may end one for safety; a session ended that way is not refunded. Sleep, water and food before the session are the preparation that counts.

Which length during a festival

After several late nights, the opening breathing of a session takes longer than usual. Two hours at €360 for one client with one therapist gives it time, and many festival visitors find ninety minutes ends just as they have settled. For a rest night with nothing afterwards, three hours at €540 is a real reset, and like every session of three hours or more it carries a deposit regardless of the date. The page on three-hour tantra massage explains what the extra hour allows.

Friends travelling together

Groups of friends often share apartments during ADE. Each session is private and takes place in a separate room with the door closed, so a shared flat works as long as one room can be kept quiet and warm. Book each session separately, and mention in the message that other guests will be in the apartment.

Preparing a festival hotel room

Festival rooms tend to look like festival rooms. Clear the bed of clothes and wristbands, move the bags, and air the room before warming it to about twenty-three degrees. Close the curtains fully if the session is in daylight. Shower, put the phone away, and silence the group chat for a couple of hours; it will survive.

Booking

Send one message on WhatsApp or Telegram with your hotel or apartment, the length and the time. The office replies in about ten minutes and names the therapist, the total and the deposit. Once the deposit clears, the therapist arrives at any central address forty to sixty minutes after confirmation. Browse the therapists if you would like to request someone by name. Festival or not, every guest has to be twenty-one or over.

When the note is finished

Where the reading
can go from here

A journal note is kept short on purpose, one thought held only as long as it stays useful, while the longer pieces, the women who give the sessions and the plain figures each wait a single page away.

The long readings

The guides

Where a note lingers on a single detail, each guide follows one question all the way down, from the tempo of the breath to the way a hotel room is readied, and the shelf of guides keeps them together.

The practitioners

Who might knock

Every one of the forty-five women on call has a page of her own, showing the quarter she lives in and a few unhurried lines on how she likes a session to open, gathered under the practitioners.

The figures

What the time costs

€180 buys the hour whether it falls at noon or at three in the morning, €360 an hour brings two therapists together for one guest, and €1,250 covers an eight-hour night with one, all of it set out on every therapist profile.

Close the page,
open the evening

Write with the hotel or the street and the length you have in mind; in about ten minutes the reply names a practitioner and the moment she expects to knock, which in the centre is usually forty to sixty minutes later.
