Pride in Amsterdam is one of the largest weeks of the summer. The Canal Parade on the first Saturday of August draws crowds along the Prinsengracht and the Amstel, and the days around it are full of parties, street festivals and late nights. Hotels are full, restaurants are full, and many visitors find that by the middle of the week they would give a great deal for an evening in a quiet room. A tantra massage during Pride Amsterdam can be that evening, and this note explains how to arrange one.
Everyone is welcome
The house welcomes every adult client, whatever their gender or orientation, and every client is treated the same way. It is worth knowing that all forty-five therapists on the roster are women. Many clients are entirely comfortable with that; some would prefer otherwise and are better served elsewhere. Asking the office before booking is always fine.
Pride is a peak date
The house treats Pride week as a peak period. Every booking on a peak date is confirmed with a deposit of half the price, whether you are new to the house or have booked before. For one client with one therapist, ninety minutes cost €270, so €135 is placed ahead and €135 paid on arrival. Two hours cost €360, split evenly. The deposit is paid by card, Revolut, Wise or crypto once the office has accepted, never by bank transfer, PayPal or cash, and it is not refunded if you cancel.
If your plans change, one move to another date within fourteen days is possible when you ask more than twenty-four hours ahead. The cancellation policy explains the rest.
Book earlier in the week
Demand for sessions rises through Pride, especially on the evenings around the Canal Parade. Writing a day or two ahead gives you a wider choice of therapist and a start time that suits you. Once the booking is confirmed and the deposit clears, the therapist reaches any central address forty to sixty minutes after the time agreed, as on any other night.
Choosing a time
The afternoon of the parade is the loudest point of the week, and the canal ring is crowded until late. Many guests book for the following evening instead, or for late on a weekday when the city has calmed a little. A session that starts after midnight costs the same as one in the afternoon, and for people who have been out all day, a late start often fits better.
Settling after a festival day
A day of music and crowds leaves the body alert even when it is tired. Slow tantra is well suited to that state, but it helps to arrive at the session clear-headed. Drink plenty of water during the day. Keep alcohol modest in the hours before the therapist arrives; a session is not given to someone who is clearly intoxicated, and a therapist may end a session for safety, which is not refunded. Take a warm shower and close the windows if the street is still celebrating.
Because settling tends to take longer after a big day, two hours is often a better choice than ninety minutes during Pride. The page on two-hour tantra massage explains what the extra time allows.
Couples during Pride
Couples visiting for Pride sometimes book an evening for two. A couple with one therapist pays €540 for ninety minutes and €720 for two hours. A couple with two therapists, receiving side by side, pays €1,080 for ninety minutes and €1,440 for two hours, and every booking with two therapists carries a deposit regardless of the date.
A few practical notes
Give your full address or hotel in the first message, and mention if the entrance is on a street closed for the parade. Keep your phone close until the therapist arrives in case the office needs a detail. If your hotel asks visitors to sign in, the therapist will do so briefly and without fuss.
Clients of every background are welcome from the age of twenty-one. Browse the therapists if you would like to name someone, and then leave the rest of the evening to her.
