Breathing is what Marina notices first, the client's, then her own, slowed until the two match. Brief in English, to the relief of most who book her.

A flat in Oud-Zuid with poor light and a good view of the street has been her base for some years now. At twenty-eight she works more slowly than she did a few years back, and considers that the whole of the improvement. Tantra, as she does it, is decided inside the first quarter of an hour: always slower than a client expects, and everything after follows from that. Two-hour bookings are the ones she prefers, and the runs out to the airport hotels suit her too, when they are booked ahead.

Marina decides which bookings she takes and may decline any of them; she sets the limits for what a session includes, says what they are, and may end a visit at any point, as the terms set out.
